How ultrasonic gas flow measurement works
The deltawaveSUF ultrasonic gas flow meter uses the time-of-flight difference method.
It transmits ultrasonic pulses into the gas flow and receives them back. Sound waves propagate faster in the direction of the gas flow than against it.
The flow velocity and rates can be calculated from the difference in transit time between the two directions.
